The latest release in what is shaping up to be a strong year for the Air Jordan I appears to take its cue from the popular Defining Moments pack, originally released back in 2009. The allocation on the upper follows the original Bred color blocking while the contrasting color is green, not unlike the pack’s second shoe.
While the DMP’s Air Jordan I featured a more traditional Celtics green, the eponymous ‘Pine Green’ colorway features a darker shade on its tumbled leather heel, heel collar, toe box, and swoosh.
The customary Nike Air branding on the tongue as well as on the insole stays true to the original concept of the shoe by utilizing traditional team red.
