PATTA X TOMMY CAPSULE

Patta and Tommy have launched their second collaborative collection, using the melting pot of cultures that is New York City as the backdrop for their campaign. A fitting choice, given that this year’s Patta x Tommy collaboration revives the spirit of 90’s hip-hop and pays tribute the heritage that both labels have in streetwear.

The all new Patta x Tommy capsule collection is a reinterpretation of classic styles, characterized by 90s hip-hop influence. That includes a more relaxed fit on preppy staples and the iconic Tommy emblem being adjusted across tees, hoodies and a varsity jacket. The line highlights 1993 – a pivotal year in the history of hip-hop. The collection uses a recognizable color palette reminiscent of some of their most memorable streetwear icons.

The brand campaign features NYC-native artists Wiki and Mike, as the leading figures to symbolize the raw resurgence of hip-hop. The duo created an original track, produced by renowned music producer The Alchemist. To accompany the track Patta x Tommy have released a music video shot by director Nicholas Stafford Briggs and lifestyle photographer Quil Lemons, the video is set in NYC – the birthplace of hip-hop – and is the ultimate expression of authentic and honest visuals celebrating hip-hop culture, its impact & influence.

Highly acclaimed filmmaker & photographer Joshua Woods brings the collection to life, capturing the collection through his lens, celebrating black culture, and its impact as well as influence.

The Patta x Tommy capsule collection, consisting of various gender-inclusive styles that capture a modern streetwear take on New York’s 90s hip-hop, releases at BSTN on Friday, December 09th. Pick up your favorite piece from the line via the button below!
