To say that the Air Max 95 remains one of the most influential designs in Nike’s storied Air Max lineup is an understatement. Three decades after the model’s first introduction, an anniversary edition pays homage to that legacy with a pastel gradient design that recalls the fan-favorite 2019 Aluminum colorway and reintroduces the Big Bubble from the silhouette’s early days in the process.
Remaining faithful to the original blueprint, the shoe features an upper built from wavy panels of synthetic leather and breathable mesh, transitioning through a gradient of grey tones. Blue Tint highlights on the lace loops, branding, and Max Air cushioning provide contrast while evoking a sense of nostalgia. A black midsole and outsole keep things grounded and round out the shoe.
