Last Saturday, BSTN invited our Hamburg community to a night of music, energy, and creativity at the Mojo Jazz Café in St. Pauli for a live jam session and party rolled into one, celebrating the launch of the new Levi’s x Jordan collaboration. With the Air Jordan III ‘Blue Denim’ and ‘Black Denim’ sitting at the heart of the collection, both shoes and matching apparel were on display, while the music drew guests in from the moment they stepped inside.
Shari Who, DJ and co-founder of Hayat Sounds, kept the energy high on the ones and twos, blending Hip Hop, R’n’B, and Dancehall classics with fresh tunes, creating the perfect soundtrack for the evening. Guiding the night on stage was the multi-talented Redchild – rapper, singer, producer, and host of the MO’JAMS series – who moved effortlessly between a solo set, live band performance, and hosting duties.
Adding a modern twist on 90s R’n’B flavor, singer Dimi Rompos captivated the crowd with her voice, presence and personal storytelling, creating intimate and warm moments that resonated long after each song. Between performances, spontaneous dance cyphers erupted on the floor, while the subsequent Open Jam session invited befriended artists and guests alike to take the stage to the sounds of the band, bringing the night full circle in true collaborative spirit.
