Debuted in last year’s line of ‘Fearless Ones’ Air Jordan Is, the ‘Racer Blue’ edition marks the second colorway of a Zoom version of the AJI.
The uncommon cushioning system — for the Air Jordan I at least — is alluded to via a woven “ZOOM” label in black, found on the lateral part of the ankle. Another parallel to the ‘Fearless Ones’ lineup is the translucent blue outsole with a red highlight underneath the forefoot.
The ‘Racer Blues’ upper combines grey patent leather elements and a white tumbled leather base with a characteristic translucent TPU overlays around the ankles.
