Evoking sweet memories of the OG ‘White Cement’ and the ‘Court Purple’ colorway from 2020, the Air Jordan III ‘Dark Iris’ blesses fans of the silhouette with fresh hits of purple and the classic elephant print on the model that marked the beginning of the legendary collaboration of Jordan Brand and a certain Tinker Hatfield.
Introduced in 1988, the Air Jordan III was the first signature shoe by his airness to sport the iconic Jumpman logo. The latter gets the purple (and black) treatment on the tongue of the ‘Dark Iris’ while it’s clad in classic black on the heel. A white leather base and black sockliner keep things subtle while additional hits of Purple can be found on the perforated ankle collar, on the eyelets and on the midsole. The elephant print and the grey rubber outsole round out the shoe.
The Air Jordan III ‘Dark Iris’ releases at BSTN on Friday, September 16th. Pick up your pair via the button below!
