AIR JORDAN IV ‘RARE AIR’

The latest release of the Air Jordan IV continues the ‘Rare Air’ theme launched ealier this year on the I and III silhouettes, mimicking the distinct look of Jordan shoes’ early stages in the sampling process, including seemingly mismatched swatches alongside the occasional hint of blue mixed in with the traditional black, red, and white.

The upper features a mix of premium leather and suede, sitting atop the characteristic white midesole and grey and red outsole. Matching the aesthetic of early Jordan releases, this pair features the classic Nike Air heel branding in addition to Jumpman logos on the tongue.

As a special treat, some versions of the shoe that are randomly inserted among the releases will feature a gold version of the ‘Jordan Rare Air’ velcro patch on the tongue, bringing the samples theme full circle by underlining how with some of them, you can quite literally strike gold just like the original Air Jordan I designs did back in the day.

The Air Jordan IV ‘Rare Air’ releases at BSTN on Saturday, July 26th. Pick up your pair via the button below!
