AIR JORDAN V ALTERNATE GRAPE

The Air Jordan V Alternate Grape releases at BSTN on Tuesday, July 7th, at 9 am CEST.

One of the more colorful iterations of the Air Jordan V to date, the all-new Alternate Grape colorway represents a novelty take on one of the most popular versions of the Five while staying true to its signature icy bottom.

Primarily constructed from suede, the distinct purple upper is contrasted by black details from various materials across the lacing, midsole, and collar. In true Grape fashion, subtle teal accents can be found on the shoe’s iconic shark teeth as well as the Jumpman branding on the tongue. The Alternate variation differs from the original Grape release in 1990 by adding the Jumpman to the shoes’ heel.

Contrary to the previously released Air Jordan V Top Three, which also featured elements of the original Grape colorway, the newly launched five does not feature an embroidery of the infamous number 23 on the lateral heel.
