There’s no denying it: Travis Scott has established himself as a steady force in the sneaker world ever since he first collaborated with Helmut Lang in 2017. What skyrocketed him into every recent discussion about ‘most influental man in sneakers’ though, were his highly sought-after collabs with Nike and Jordan.
Probably the most popular model to showcase Travis‘ talent to twist vintage aesthetics into future classics is the Air Jordan I Low. The upcoming “Reverse Mocha” colorway proves that again: While the classic silhouette’s lateral features an oversized backward facing Swoosh once again, the medial is graced by a regular Swoosh. Red Cactus Jack logos appear on the tongue, side panel and sockliner while the heel tabs are graced by a child-like drawing of La Flame’s face and classic Air Jordan wings.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan I Low OG “Reverse Mocha” was released at BSTN on Thursday, July 21st.
