Just in time for the grande finale of the Nike Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary, Yoon Ahn and Nike link up to celebrate the iconic basketball silhouette with the Nike Air Force 1 Low SP x AMBUSH ‘Game Royal’ and the Nike Air Force 1 Low SP x AMBUSH ‘Pine Green’.
Following in the footsteps of various colorways of a collaborative Nike Dunk High and Nike Air Adjust by the Tokyo-based label and Nike, both the ‘Game Royal’ and ‘Pine Green’ boast an extended Swoosh and co-branded heel counters which already made the aforementioned Dunk High a sought-after fan favorite.
While the colorblocking of the Swoosh and the leather upper on the shoes is as loud as one would hope for with AMBUSH, the 3D lace dubraes reading ‘AF-1’ nod to the label’s roots in experimental jewellery. Branded tongue tags and outsoles as well as co-branded packaging round off the shoes.
