BANNED AIR JORDAN I

‘Banned’ Jordan Storefront at BSTN Munich

On September 15th, 1985, Nike created a revolutionary new basketball shoe. On October 18th, the NBA threw them out of the game. Fortunately, they couldn’t stop the Air Jordan I from becoming an unquestionable icon of the footwear universe. When the original black and red colorway returned in the iconic ‘Banned ‘edition alongside the Jordan XXXI in 2016, no one could stop the basketball aficionados at BSTN from going all-in on the release. We paired the retroed sneakers with an installation of premium quality leather basketballs and a distinctive and oversized BANNED lettering sprawled across both front windows of our Munich-based flagship store.
