BIGGIE SMALL(S)

The Pop Vinyl Albums set features the typical Funko POP! vinyl figure as well as the album cover artwork in a plexiglass case.

As the starting point of an upcoming series dedicated to some of the most legendary album covers in hip hop history (dubbed Pop Vinyl albums), Funko POP! is introducing The Notorious BIG and Ready To Die.

With a cover artwork that is almost as iconic as the record itself, the infamous baby should hit home instantly with toy collectors and music aficionados alike. Fun fact: The figurine does not depict Biggie himself but rather Keithroy Yearwood, the then one-year-old who posed for the cover in 1994 (after his mother had added young Keithroy to the roster of a modeling agency).

Ready To Die’s indisputable place among hip hop royalty results from its unprecedented mixture of authentic and aggressive tracks that oozed Biggie’s Brooklyn cool from every pore as well as hit singles with mass-market potential, as told by the album’s producers in the documentary “The Birth of Biggie”, that celebrated the 25 year anniversary of Ready To Die.
