After a much sought-after collab via the GT-2160 silhouette last December, ASICS and HIDDEN.NY team up for a collaborative pair of another shoe of the hour: the ASICS GEL-NYC. And this time around, the shoe “is not a designer shoe, but rather a shoe for designers everywhere.”
Boasting a white mesh base with silver synthetic panels, one of the most striking features is HIDDEN’s vibrant green branding that can be found all over via vector and co-branded logos – a shoe for designers, remember – and midsole components. Green can also be found on the pixelated twist of the ASICS’ logo, which pays homage to HIDDEN.NY’s digital roots and unprecedented rise from one of the culture’s most influential digital moodboards and followers to a streetwear force on its own these days.
