Race day is only one part of the journey.
Yesterday, Osagie and Katharina took on the Munich Marathon, bringing weeks of preparation to a finish line that meant something different to each of them. The miles were demanding, the effort was real, and crossing the finish line left both exhausted but happy – the kind of feeling that makes everything leading up to it worthwhile.
Throughout their preparation, one piece of gear stayed in the rotation: the On Cloudmonster 3 Hyper.
One shoe. Different demands.
Long runs, faster sessions and the gradual build towards marathon distance all ask something different of a runner. The Cloudmonster 3 Hyper is designed to meet those demands as a Supertrainer – combining substantial cushioning with a responsive ride that brings a little extra energy to every stride.
At its core is On‘s CloudTec® cushioning system, paired with Helion™ HF hyper foam for impact absorption and energy return. The result is a shoe built to handle the demands of longer training runs while remaining responsive enough for sessions where the pace picks up. It sits in the space between everyday training and performance running. For Osagie and Katharina, it became part of the process that led to Munich Marathon weekend.
Beyond the finish line
A marathon is measured in kilometers, but the experience is built long before the start. The early alarms, the miles when motivation runs low, the sessions that go better than expected and the ones that test your patience – all of it becomes part of race day.
Osagie and Katharina made it to the finish line. They leave with the exhaustion, the happiness and the satisfaction of having seen their preparation through.
We’re thrilled to have followed them along the way and to have had On’s Cloudmonster 3 Hyper as part of their journey.
Respect the work. Celebrate the moment.
