Marking the long-awaited return of Oasis to the stage after a sixteen–year hiatus, the band joins forces with adidas for a collaboration that feels nothing short of inevitable: After all, the Gallagher brothers – right up there with Run DMC and KoRn – have cemented their status among the most iconic 3-Stripes devotees in music history ever since Oasis-mania first swept the globe in 1994.
For the footwear side of the collection, the two brothers each got their own collaborative pair: Noel’s contribution to the pack sees the adidas Marathon reimagined in a palette of deep navy and sky-blue accents – a subtle nod to the silhouette’s 1980s roots. A moulded tongue and a portrait tag of Liam himself add a personal layer.
Liam puts his stamp on the adidas Achille, staying true to its OG catalogue appearance with a beige–and–brown treatment, complemented by suede overlays and retro outsoles for a fresh look. Rounding out the highly anticipated pairs are bespoke insoles.
