OFF-WHITE X AIR JORDAN II LOW

Having successfully turned the world of basketball and sneakers on their heads with the iconic first signature of Michael Jordan’s unrivaled run in both industries, Jordan Brand kept everyone on their toes with the release of the AJ II in 1986. Made in Italy, the Air Jordan II was the first sneaker to introduce luxury detail to a peak basketball performance silhouette.

A severely underrated gem in the star-studded lineup of signature Jordans beloved by those in the know, the Air Jordan II featured a premium look and feel that makes the ’86 original fit perfectly in today’s sneaker culture, thirty-five years later. Inspired by the heritage and impact of the twos, Virgil Abloh brings the design journey full circle with his own personal homage to the Air Jordan 2 Low in the unmistakable de-constructed style of Off-White™.

Both pairs of the limited-edition Off-White x Air Jordan II Low release at BSTN on Friday, November 12th. For your chance to purchase either pair, make sure to enter the BSTN Raffle before Thursday, November 11th, at 3 pm CET via the respective buttons below!

Abloh’s unique design is centered around the hypothetical question of how an Air Jordan II would look like if it was pulled out of a time capsule. That’s why, for the first time in Nike’s history, a sneaker was reverse engineered from an original pair in the DNA Archive using three-dimensional scans of an exact pair MJ laced up. Since no two sneakers crumble the same way, the left and right pair of each Air Jordan 2 x Off-White™ has a different cracked midsole for accurate representation.
