SACAI X NIKE CORTEZ 4.0

With Nike still celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Cortez this year, their most recent collaboration is guaranteed to keep the party going: The sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 gives the legendary silhouette the signature treatment of the Japanese luxury brand, right in time for Hispanic Heritage Month.

First released in 1972, the Nike Cortez is the brainchild of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman and got popular fast due to its exposure at the peak of the Summer Olympics. Celebrating this OG colorway, the nylon-resembling base and suede overlays of the sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 come dressed in classic white, red and blue.

As you would expect with Chitose Abe’s label involved, the rest of the shoe gets the full double sacai treatment as seen on previous highly popular LDWaffle, VaporWaffle and Blazer collabs: Double soles? Check. Two laces? Of course. Two Swooshes? Check check. Other highlights include co-branding and a visible Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to round off the shoe.

The Sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 releases on Wednesday, August 31st, at BSTN. For your chance to purchase a pair, make sure to enter the BSTN Raffle before Tuesday, August 30th, at 3 pm CEST via the button below!
