While Stone Island has launched highly sought-after collaborations with some of the biggest names in sneaker culture – including their recent link-up with New Balance – the iconic label has never released a footwear drop of their own. Until now!
In their journey, Stone Island takes football-inspired icons as their reference and pays homage to the UK’s Rock and Grime music scene with three different sneaker models. Each of the three lifestyle silhouettes initially drops in three individual colorways.
The Rock is a classic low-cut mixture of 70‘s retro sneakers whose lace tips are referring to Stone Island’s iconic black metal trims. The Football sneaker is inspired by evergreen styles of the sport, celebrating Stone Island’s philosophy of monochromatic color and materials blends. Finally, the Grime sneaker takes inspiration from silhouettes celebrated by UK’s Grime culture.
