To ‘celebrate the colossal’, the Air Jordan IV ‘Frozen Moments’ not only borrows its name from the eponymous 1997 GOAT-starring commercial but comes with even more reference points paying hommage to MJ’s early career in the NBA.
While the pair’s grey leather and suede upper keeps things subtle, the support wings follow that color scheme with a loud twist: Clad in bright Metallic Silver and mirroring flashes of MJ’s buzzer-beating style, they evoke memories of ‘The Shot’ against the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 1989, the very same year the Air Jordan IV silhouette itself made its debut. A sail-colored midsole atop a grey rubber outsole rounds out the design. The pair comes with a special hangtag.
