The Old Skool, formerly known as Style 36, was the second pair of Vans skate shoes to be released in 1977 and later became known as the first model to feature the iconic jazz stripe that has come to symbolize Vans. In the early 90s, shortly before its 30th anniversary, it was renamed the Old Skool and officially joined the ranks of the classics.
