adidas brings back their ZX series

Created by legendary designer Jacques Chassaing in the mid and late eighties, the ZX series was among the first to make use of adidas’ revolutionary Torsion system. Due to the new technology, the forefoot and heel sections of the soles could work independently from one another. In the process, it produced some of the most recognizable runners the era has ever seen.

Following the instant sellout of the ZX 5000 and the ZX 6000, get set for two additional more classics from the ZX series — the ZX 7000, and ZX 9000 — releasing in our online shop over the next two weeks. Peep the detailed images and release information on all of the ZX models below!
