KORN X ADIDAS

Celebrating KoRn‘s 30th anniversary, the Nu-Metal band and adidas finally join forces to pay homage to the brand’s trailblazing legacy and their enduring cultural impact that extends far beyond music when they broke away from metal music’s established aesthetic codes in the 1990s. And, spoiler alert, a certain brand with 3-Stripes played a crucial part in it:

“We were obsessed with gangster rap so much, and a lot of these guys would wear sportswear and that had a major influence on us. We’ve been waiting to do a collab with adidas for so long. But at the time in the nineties, we had a song saying that adidas stood for ‘All Day I Dream About Sex.’ Adidas were like ‘No. We’re not going to do anything with you.'”

Jonathan Davis, singer of KoRn

Obviously, those days of are long gone, which is immortalized in a collection that scats screams ‘late 90s/ Y2K’: Aside from bold graphic t-shirts and hoodies inspired by their 1996 album ‘Life Is Peachy’, it features the highly-anticipated adidas Campus 00s KoRn and the adidas KoRn Supermodified on the footwear side. Rounding out the collection is a matching KoRn x adidas tracksuit, with which frontman Jonathan Davis has been synonymous for almost three decades now.

The KoRn x adidas collection releases at BSTN on Friday, October 27th. For your chance to purchase a pair of the adidas Campus 00s KoRn, make sure to enter the BSTN Raffle before Thursday, October 26th, at 3 PM CET.
