IT’S ALL ABOUT THE METAVERSE

Biggie back? An avatar of Christopher Wallace will perform the late rapper's hits at the virtual reality event 'Sky's the Limit': Get all the infos now at BSTN Chronicles.

One more chance, kind of: Brooklyn’s very own Biggie Smalls will be the next music legend to hold a concert in the Metaverse and, judging from the preview video, his upcoming performance so far looks more promising than recent virtual concerts by Eminem and Snoop Dogg or Ozzy Osbourne.

Developed in collaboration with the late rapper’s estate, the ‘Sky’s the Limit’ virtual reality event will take place on December 16th in honor of what would have been B.I.G.’s 50th birthday. Apparently, fans can expect a “true-to-life, hyper-realistic” avatar of Biggie – decked out in an authentic Sergio Tacchini fit – to perform tracks and will be taken on a “narrative journey” through The Brook, a virtual version of 1990s’ Brooklyn.

I’m humbled and very excited to share what we’ve been working on for two years, which is now ready for Biggie fans new and old to enjoy. Today we bring my son Christopher’s hyper-realistic avatar in The Brook metaverse to the world.. I believe you will love it as much as I do.

Bad Boy Records admirers and new-school fans alike can also look forward to guest appearances by Nardo Wick, Latto, The Lox and (of course) Junior M.A.F.I.A. colleague Lil’ Cease and Diddy P Poppa Poppa Diddy Pop Puffy.
