The ASICS GEL-KINETIC 2.0 x HIDDEN NY collaboration combines early digital design influences with modern cushioning technology for everyday wear. Inspired by early digital art programs, the design features a clean, technical aesthetic with a textured, molded polyurethane upper. The visual design draws on the aesthetics of early computer hardware and translates them into two minimalist colorways that reflect HIDDEN NY’s signature color palette. Technologically, the Scutoid GEL unit has been positioned directly under the foot, based on pressure distribution data, to distribute impact more evenly and enhance comfort. The setup is complemented by an FF BLAST PLUS midsole, which is encased in a TPU TRUSSTIC cage to support cushioning, stability, and controlled movement.
