In 2000, after a lot of testing and some prototypes, Nike brought their runner to life with the particularly striking sole. The first Nike Shox was born. The futuristic silhouette came on the market in three variants - Shox R4, BB4 and XTR. The Shox technology works on a simple principle: the sole absorbs energy when the heel touches the ground and returns it directly to the runner as soon as he puts weight on his toes in the next step.
