The fragrance, as well as the distinctive design of the bottle and packaging by DIA x MEG WEBSTER, were developed through a close collaboration between COMME des GARÇONS and American artist Meg Webster. Webster is known for her interior sculptures made of salt, earth, sand, and other natural materials, as well as for her outdoor installations, which foster a deeper awareness of and engagement with the Earth’s ecosystem. The pictogram [ ] on the bottle references a diagrammatic element from Webster’s early sculptures, which often depicted enclosed spaces designed to encourage viewer interaction by placing participants in relation to one another within the sculptural environment. The scent is an integral part of the encounter with Meg Webster’s work.
