The trilobate structure of the nylon yarn, its gray weft, black warp colors are the grounds of the distinctive metallic and tonic sheen of Nylon Metal, one of the most versatile fabrics born from the Stone Island textile research. The evolution of this iconic fabric sees the use of Econyl regenerated yarns. The life ended nylon, pre and post-consumer, is recycled with a complex depolymerization process to create this fiber that features the same intrinsic characteristics of nylon from fossil raw material. The finished piece then undergoes an elaborate double dye procedure.
