For the Academy bomber jacket, Kenzo designer Nigo drew inspiration from the sportswear elements of Ivy League apparel. Double stripes on the sleeves are echoed in color by Kenzo embroidery on the chest. The back is adorned with '70' embroidery in terry with 'Rue Vivienne' motif. It refers to the opening of the house's first boutique. Engraved Kenzo Paris buttons give the jacket a vintage touch and complete the design.
