This edition of the Thiers by Paraboot for Norse Projects is a tribute to the Kanonbådsskure - the historic gunboat hangars in Copenhagen's Holmen district. Built in 1820 to store ships of the Royal Danish Navy, these half-timbered buildings now house architectural offices and the Norse Projects design studio. The design is based on a Paraboot silhouette from the 1960s and is reinterpreted with leather laces and the Rocade outsole - a lightweight rubber sole made in France and carefully selected from the Paraboot archives. The Thiers has a suede upper, leather lining and is embellished with Blake stitching. It features a streamlined, traditional last with a slightly short and rounded toe.
