The winter jacket with hood from Stone Island is made from a lightweight, three-layer functional fabric. This has an outer layer of matt nylon laminated to a breathable, water- and wind-repellent membrane. This in turn is protected by a wafer-thin polyester layer. Stone Island's experience with piece-dyeing processes creates incomparable colours on the outside without the coating losing any of its functionality. The addition of a special active ingredient in the dye bath ensures a beading effect on the garment.
