The 1996 Retro Nuptse Down Vest has a boxy silhouette, a shiny ripstop fabric, an exposed zipper, and slanted pockets - and, of course, the iconic oversized chambers. Compared to the '90s models, though, this version features 700-fill down from responsible sources and a water-repellent finish. Conveniently, the hood stows in the collar and the entire vest can be packed up and stowed in the right pocket.
