Keith Haring was a driving force in the New York art scene and created some of the most iconic imagery of the 20th century. He worked with diverse artists and personalities such as Madonna, Grace Jones, Bill T. Jones, William S. Burroughs, Timothy Leary, Jenny Holzer, Yoko Ono and Andy Warhol, making him one of the best-known artists of his generation. Throughout his career, Keith Haring produced murals, sculptures and paintings to benefit hospitals, groups for underprivileged children and various health organisations. The collaboration between The Skateroom, Keith Haring's foundation and Artestar draws on iconic works by the late artist to create unique art objects in the form of skateboard decks. With wall mounts and instructions included, these can be used as decorative wall objects at home. This creates a link between contemporary global skate culture and the inspiring works of the artist.
