The Old Skool, formerly known as the Style 36, was Vans' second pair of skate shoes, introduced in 1977 and later known as the first model to feature the iconic jazz stripe that has come to symbolize Vans. In the early 90's, just before its 30th anniversary, it was renamed the Old Skool and officially joined the ranks of the classics.
