The National Park Foundation and adidas have teamed up to release three different ZX models, as well as a pair of adidas shoes. The ZX 8000 not only features the colours Linen, Brown and Tech Copper, but the upper is also made of robust and weather-resistant CORDURA nylon and leather. This material is visible throughout the base, its ripstop coloured in a shade of red to complement the darker tongue, lining and branded heel pull. In addition, the sneaker features contrasting leather and suede overlays that combine with the yellow sole to pay homage to Yellowstone National Park. The light blue accents on the tread 3-Stripes and laces are a nod to Yellowstone's unique hydrothermal landmarks. The design is rounded off with a patch on the tongue.
