The Re-Run Cactus from Mercer Amsterdam is, as the name suggests, made from cactus. Cactus 'leather' is an extremely sustainable, plant-based material as an alternative to leather, which is often characterized by its great softness to the touch and meets the strictest quality and environmental standards. The aim is to offer a sustainable and cruelty-free alternative to leather that is free from toxic chemicals, phthalates and PVC.
- Upper: 40% cactus / 60% organic PU with 100% cotton infusion from cactus
- Mesh: 100% recycled polyester, Global Recycled Standard
- Insole: 100% recycled EVA
- Outsole: 95% recycled rubber, 5% natural rubber
- Midsole: 65% bio-based EVA from sugar cane, 35% EVA
- Lining: 100% recycled polyester
- Laces: 100% recycled polyester
