adidas and BSTN continue their collaborative ‘O.G. with a Twist’ series, introducing a contemporary take on the classic Handball Spezial. The joint edition turns heads with its soft premium leather upper and bespoke curved overlays – a first-time design element made exclusively for this release. Keeping things intentionally clean and understated, the only splash of color comes in the form of refined blue hues nodding to the Mediterranean waters that surround the cultures that inspired this release.

To underline the European heritage spirit, the insole and shoe box feature a unique logo created in collaboration with BSTN family friend Theodoros Giannitsacis. The playful graphic depicts a comic-style gentleman casually spinning a basketball on his finger – a literal twist of adding BSTN’s hoops DNA to the Handball Spezial silhouette.
