The asics NEOTIDE is an innovative lifestyle sneaker that combines sustainability and design. Inspired by the question, ‘How can we create something new from materials that would otherwise be thrown away?’, it was developed in collaboration with Studio Hagel and Fastfeet Grinded. The upper is made from 100% recycled knit fabric, and the laces are made from approximately 75% recycled materials. The midsole combines futuristic design with EVA foam made from 25% ground-up material, while the outsole contains at least 25% recycled rubber. In addition, the sneaker uses GEL technology made from 100% internal GEL waste. Inspired by heritage running shoes from the 2000s, the NEOTIDE combines sustainability with urban aesthetics.
