The first iteration of the series was ASICS' first shoe to feature 360-degree GEL technology in the midsole. Its upper construction has been modified with closed mesh inserts and minimal branding to give the shoe a more dimensional look with greater depth. The midsole with its 360-degree GEL technology unit has been retained but updated with FF BLAST PLUS cushioning for improved comfort underfoot.
