In 2000, after a lot of testing and a few prototypes, Nike brought their runner with the particularly striking sole to life. The first Nike Shox was born. And it came on the market in a total of three variants - Shox R4, BB4 and XTR. The Shox technology works according to a simple and straightforward principle: the sole absorbs energy when the heel strikes the ground and returns it directly to the runner as soon as he puts weight on his toes in the next step.
