Vans presents the UA Authentic 44 DX as the Anaheim Factory Edition in a few OG colorways, paying homage to the first production site of this skating low-top. When it launched in 1966, the Authentic was the first lace-up skate shoe to feature a vulcanized sole and significant waffle tread. Today, the model is a Vans classic and relies on features like suede uppers, metal eyelets for lacing, textile lining, a foamed UltraCush footbed, the vulcanized sole construction with the significant waffle tread, a Vans flag label on the stylized derby arch and the essential Vans Off The Wall patch in rubber at the back of the sole frame.
