adidas Gazelle
The adidas Gazelle made its debut in 1966. And calling its design, with the perfectly showcased three stripes, "timeless" has almost become an understatement since then: The shoe is distinguished by its golden “Gazelle” branding on the side – a hallmark of many adidas retro designs. Originally designed as a sports shoe for indoor activities, the Gazelle has always been equipped with a durable gum sole. From the 70s and 80s on, the Gazelle gained worldwide popularity beyond sports, when it was spotted on icons like MJ (the singing one). In the 90s, the Gazelle saw a resurgence, prominently worn by musicians like the Beastie Boys and bands like Oasis, cementing its status as a cultural icon and a cornerstone of sneaker fashion.
